Roots exhibition (part 2)

除了彩色的方法，我亦採用了黑白的方法去表達，由 Transformation and Imagination 四版印章組成，由真實的照片幼化成複雜又美麗的構圖。

印章可以有無限可能性，而且有他藝術性的一面，有待大家去發掘！

Roots exhibition (part 1)

由細到大都好喜歡樹木，尤其榕樹，所以第一次小形展覽就採用石牆樹為主題，

香港特別多石牆樹是因為港島地區道路都是平整土坡開闢而成，香港政府及建築商為了防止那些在斜坡上建造的高樓大廈滑坡導致危險一直以石牆鞏固土坡，細葉榕由於有頑強的生命力，所以可以在石牆此等惡劣 的環境下茁壯成長，形成自然與文化歷史融合的獨特景觀 。

2 0 0 5 年 ， 政 府 決 定 出 售 荷 李 活 道 前 警 察 宿 舍 的 地 皮 ， 並 建 議 清 拆 三 分 二 的 石 牆 。 為 了 保 留 這 些 與 大 家 一 起 成 長 的 珍 貴 榕 樹 ， 中 西 區 的 居 民 和 議 員 舉 行 了 「 手 牽 手 護 古 樹 」 活 動 ， 最 後 成 功 將 所 有 石 牆 樹 保 留 ， 為 石 牆 及 區 內 保 留 一 些 綠 蔭 。因此而特別用了他們做主角。

展覽採用兩種不同的印章表達方法傳遞樹與石牆結合的美麗構圖。

第一部份採用印章的套色、叠色技巧，用四至五塊橡皮印章叠印成一福彩圖。

喜歡跟 &dear 做快樂又有意義的 crossover 創作。這張 postcard 全用印章

製作，最大一個約有 28cm 大, 又彩用多種上色，叠色技巧；富香港地道

味，從霓虹招牌到香港出現的雀鳥，裡面還有兩隻雀鳥是由他們雕刻！希

望讓更多人了解印章有蠻多可能性、藝術性！並引起關注人鳥和諧。

Enjoyed such a meaningful and cheerful crossover event with &dear. The 

postcards were fully made with self-carved stamps, with the largest one 

sized around 28cm. Multiplies of colouring skills were applied to show local 

styles of Neon advertising boards and native birds, among which two of 

them were carved by &dear! We wish the postcards give a message of the

 possibility and artistic senses of stamp carving and promote the harmony

 of all local citizens, including birds and human.

印章雕刻工作坊Workshop on Stamp Carving Art for Beginners

一片橡皮膠，可以覆印回憶。

The technique of stamp carving involves sketching, transferring, carving and printing.

At beginners’ level, participants can pick up basic techniques of knife control and carve simple motifs. Alice will share how to use carving tools for simple detailing, and acquire basic stamping and overlay stamping techniques. Participants will get to bring home the carving knives, a rubber stamp carved out of a Japanese professional rubber carving board, and an inkpad.

Guest instructor: Alice Yeung has received the rubber stamp carving instructor’s certificate in 2011

上次講過就算用油性印台 stazon 都唔能夠避免擦甩色。今次就試用特別的方法用印章印磁器！終於吸收第一次失敗經驗後，第二次成功了。雖然成功率唔系100%，都感到一大突破。要繼續練習同研究。
可以話比大家知嘅系要用繪劃磁器的顏料，我地一般用的日本專業雕刻橡皮膠太厚太硬，所以要再做手腳加功改良先可以印。而且印的力度都要好準確。
印完要入窯燒，先可永久唔脫色！
